Our brand, established in the 1980s, initially served Hayward with halal Pizza during a time when many Afghans were migrating to the US. Facing the challenge of not finding halal options upon arrival, we recognized an opportunity to provide halal pizza, thus launching New York Pizza on Tennyson with a Halal Option.

Initially, our family operated a supermarket with a focus on dry-shelf products, but upon migrating to the US, we acquired New York Pizza. As more Muslims settled in the Bay Area and the demand for halal cuisine increased, we responded by launching Pizza Hub, a fully halal Pizzeria certified by the HFSAA (Halal Food Standard Alliance of America), continuing our commitment to providing halal options in our community.
